THE 1.618 EVENT, THE NEW LUXURIES

The sixth edition of the 1.618 Event will showcase the best of the high-end and responsible Art de Vivre. Awareness through art and science, presentation of consumption and production alternatives (brands, sourcing, services), prospective experience and conferences program: the 1.618 Event is a place of meetings, inspirations, experiences and awareness.

We are happy to share a few moments with you here, and look forward to welcoming you from 2 to 4 June at the Carreau du Temple in Paris.

At the heart of an eco-designed scenography by the ARTER agency: modular and light, aiming at maximum circularity, we have conceived an itinerary to make you aware, to inspire you, to present you with sustainable and desirable brands, to engage you in a positive momentum!

Art, data, virtual immersion, conferences, screenings, workshops, responsible shopping, foresight & happenings are on the agenda.

For the exhibition “ORIGINS – Artists’ view of primary forests“, Lauranne Germond, founder of COAL, has brought together a dozen international artists who look at these forests of origins. Their visual research is rooted in a deep fascination for the richness of these primordial spaces with their luxuriant vitality.

How sustainably happy are you?
“Can we live a good life without costing the planet?” This is the crucial question that we would like to share with the visitors of the 1.618 Event, based on the data of the Happy Planet Index. Initiated by Nic Marks and now developed by the Hot or Cool Institute, the HPI is calculated from three indicators: ecological footprint, life expectancy and well-being. It measures what really matters: sustainable well-being for all.

Discover some forty creative and virtuous brands that inspire new ways of producing and consuming: fashion, design, jewellery, beauty, mobility, gastronomy. Come and meet the entrepreneurs who have put sustainable development at the heart of their business.

Made from FSC-certified cardboard tubes, chipboard panels donated by the Centre Pompidou, textiles donated by Pierre Frey, and window decorations donated by Guerlain and Dior Couture (thanks to the Comité Colbert for relaying our call for participation), the event’s scenographic elements will be donated in their entirety to Bellastock and Yes We Camp on 5 June, World Environment Day.

And also, three days of exchanges and debates in the auditorium which are going to be fascinating as the speakers are exceptional! We will reveal the programme in a few days…

We are looking forward to it! What about you?
