Passing under this rain of tillandsia, guests will experience a surreal atmosphere and <strong>a dreamlike rainforest feel right in the heart of London<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>\u00ab\u00a0The plants making up this dome, tillandsia usneoides, are epiphytic plants that grow without the need for soil and usually live clinging to trees in the tropical forests of Central America. They feed exclusively on air humidity and light, and turn from a silvery grey to a meadow green when wet\u00a0\u00bb.<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img width=\"647\" height=\"521\" src=\"https:\/\/www.1618-paris.com\/Le-Journal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2023-10-10-a\u0300-15.25.07.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6289\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.1618-paris.com\/Le-Journal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2023-10-10-a\u0300-15.25.07.png 647w, https:\/\/www.1618-paris.com\/Le-Journal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2023-10-10-a\u0300-15.25.07-300x242.png 300w, https:\/\/www.1618-paris.com\/Le-Journal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2023-10-10-a\u0300-15.25.07-472x380.png 472w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 647px) 100vw, 647px\" \/><figcaption>Patrick Nadeau, founder of the eponymous studio<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Patrick Nadeau has a double qualification in architecture and design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From 2000, following a residency at Villa Kujoyama in Kyoto, he followed his natural inclination for \u00ab\u00a0the things of nature\u00a0\u00bb and devised an approach to design that he describes as Plant Design. The projects he develops with his studio are inspired by his research into plants as a teacher-researcher at the Ecole Sup\u00e9rieure d&rsquo;Art et de Design in Reims.
