With no obligation of result, the Villa is the temporary granting of a space to encourage creation. After finally moving the activities of the Center near the University of Kyoto, whose district was then in full expansion, the building was abandoned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 1986, the French <strong>Ministry of Foreign Affairs<\/strong> decided to build an unique establishment there, intended for the first time in Asia, to welcome artists and researchers in residence. She proposes to curl up in these washi cocoons as in a nest, an igloo in order to take a necessary step back on the world that surrounds us and to appreciate the nature to be preserved<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSfgI4ZQve9OOh9l1nycpocb-Id6cFKFo8FNBp4JySSV4ihkOQ\/viewform\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSfgI4ZQve9OOh9l1nycpocb-Id6cFKFo8FNBp4JySSV4ihkOQ\/viewform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>OPEN CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS FOR THE ARTWORK PRODUCTION WORKSHOP<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">In this perspective, C\u00e9line Wright wishes to work with those interested in making this handmade installation together during a workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The realized work will be presented from <strong>October 1st to 10th, 2022 <\/strong>at <strong>Kyoto City KYOCERA Museum of Art<\/strong>, as part of the main program of <strong>the Nuit Blanche KYOTO 2022<\/strong> and the program of the <strong>30th anniversary of Villa Kujoyama<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nuit Blanche Kyoto is a pluridisciplinary art event organized by <strong>Institut fran\u00e7ais du Japon \u2013 Kansai <\/strong>and <strong>Kyoto City<\/strong>, as part of the friendship between Paris and Kyoto.
