“Sustainable Design III” by Marie-Hélène Contal & Jana Revedin has served as a catalog for the exhibition “Re-enchanting the world”, which was held at the “Cité de l’Architecture & du Patrimoine”, from May 21st to October 6th 2014.
To meet the environmental and social challenges our society is now facing, an avant-garde of architects is working to rebuild a balanced relationship between Earth and People. A global architectural scene emerges! These actors no longer share models but common values, methods, experiences.
These are the innovators working throughout the world that the “Global Award for Sustainable Architecture” wants to reward every year. Created in 2007 by the architect and professor Jana Revedin in partnership with the “Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine” of Paris, this award, which received the patronage of UNESCO in 2011, rewards architects who share the ethics of sustainable development and offer new experiences in urban and rural areas.
