Since 2009, along with experts, creative minds and visionary people, the 1.618 Sustainable Luxury Movement gathers brands and initiatives that define the New Luxury and propose a new Lifestyle, responsible and sustainable.

From the 1st to the 11th of June, in celebration of the European Sustainable Development Week, 1.618 Paris launch the 1st Ephemeral Lifestyle Boutique dedicated to New Luxury. Throughout the week, several innovative brands, as beautiful as they are responsible, will present their products at ‘La Corderie’, a Parisian venue, usually privatized, at the heart of the Haut-Marais, a few steps away from the Carreau du Temple.

The fields of jewelery, design, mobility, perfumes and other fashion accessories will be represented, all in a tailor-made scenography. An unprecedented program that will satisfy all the senses throughout the event: sound, art, tastings, talks … for an unique experience!

La Boutique 1.618 brings together a selection of fifteen French and foreign companies from all areas of the art of living: design, mobility, gastronomy, new tech, fashion, jewelery, perfume …

Brands identified by 1,618 must meet creative, ethical and aesthetic criterias and meet the expectations of transparency and commitment. 1.618 validates the Sustainable Development process by a committee of renowned independent experts, in order to avoid any greenwashing.

JEM – Jewellery Ethically Minded

The first French collection of ethical jewellery in Fairminded Gold, characterized by minimalist and very contemporary lines.

BONAVERI

The world’s first fully biodegradable mannequin designed by Bonaveri.

BALLO

An aesthetic and sustainable alternative to traditional sunglasses: designed in Cape Town, South Africa,
these creations are both trendy and eco-friendly, as they combine sharp design with recycled paper and cut wood.

STURIA

The Haute-Couture caviars from Sturia are produced in France from slow culture in natural bassins.
The attention paid to ecological balance and rigorous respect for quality make it possible to appreciate an impeccable and natural caviar.

EVE & DAPHNÉE

Eve & Daphnée offers a unique approach to rare perfumes,  celebrating a new and desirable lifestyle,
Both sustainable and inspiring.

ELSEWAYS

The eco-solidary project gathers the best of the crafts and arts of the South of Italy.
The collection “Irresistible Puglia” will be presented in preview in La Boutique 1.618.

AKONITE

Akonite produces sustainable objects, in the most environmentally friendly way possible and participates in the local French and European economies. Skates, sleds and skis,made from vegetable fibers combine engineering and design.

BOUGH BIKES

Created by Jan Gunneweg, a Dutch designer passionate about wood and natural products,
The Bough Bikes electric bikes are made of oak and meet the principles of Natura 2000.
An unique cycling experience that combines beauty, simplicity and functionality.

HAZANG

The Hazang bamboo speakers are unique and handmade:
They combine Vietnamese craftsmanship, natural materials and top-of-the-range components for exceptional sound quality.

echo-in and Jean-Marc l’Hotel
1 – 8 June

echo-in, an innovative promoter of the living arts in the digital age, and its founder Almaz Vaglio, propose to dress the walls of La Corderie with an interactive sound installation in relief with Jean Marc L’Hotel. A unique experience will be carried out from the opening night to reveal over time the genius of the place and the music of its occupants: a first sound piece for this first edition.

Anne Roquigny, curator of new media, is a specialist in the programming of hybrid artistic projects related to sound, visual arts, the internet and social networks. She presents her connected sculpture, the BBot and her selection of works from the “Rebelling Nature” collection.

AN ECO-CONSCIOUS SCENOGRAPHY

In partnership with the art director Grégori Loui, 1,618 has designed and created custom-made, eco-designed, recyclable and customizable furniture based on alveolar cardboard. Display stands, stelae, images and texts that form unique islands, mounted without glue ….
The scenography helps to promote harmony between brands and can be easily adapted to other types of events.
The selected brands will be in an ecological setting where they will showcase their superb products, their creative process and their know-how.
