On the occasion of the “Sustainable sourcing and responsible value chains” conferences day organized by 1.618 Paris, we are pleased to announce our partnership with SYMRISE !

1.618 Paris is organizing its “Sustainable sourcing and responsible value chains” conference day with Symrise as supporting partner. Anne Cabotin, VP Sales Southern Europe, Fragrances and Oral Care & VP Scent and Care Sustainability Strategy at Symrise, will highlight the various commitments within Symrise’s sustainability approach and how it is embedding sustainability as a core value into the business strategy.

Symrise is the third largest supplier of fragrances, flavors, cosmetic active ingredients and raw materials as well as functional ingredients. Economic success and corporate responsibility are inextricably linked in the work with its clients. Symrise thus takes sustainability into account in every part of its value chain – with responsible sourcing being a key pillar in this.

Also, Symrise constantly invests in research to offer its clients innovative and sustainable solutions. Symrise was one of the first fragrance companies in the industry to purchase CENSO certified lavandin oil. Recently, the company has started two other initiatives with joining the Ecoparque Natura Cosemtics Program in the Brazilian Amazon region and developing Vetiver supply chain in Madagascar. Its commitment to establishing a sustainable sourcing approach of vanilla from Madagascar is particularly outstanding. For these and other initiatives, Symrise has received various awards thus confirming its status as pioneer in sustainable sourcing solutions.
