opening the sustainable week in 2012
1.618 Sustainable Luxury Fair will take place from 29 of march to 1st of april 2012
Each year, 1.618 organises a recycling operation with its old stocks of unsold catalogues.
This year, 1.618 associated with 4 prestigious partners to bring a new life to this catalogues:
* The International Herald Tribune who wished to be part of the project, by giving unsold stocks of newspapers;
* The prestigious school of design Parsons Paris gathered the foundation year student and asked each of them to create an art piece;
* La Chaine Du Coeur followed the students through their creative process by filming several stages of their work and will broadcast the footage during the whole exhibition on its website.
* The Gallery S. Bensimon who will welcome the selected art pieces chosen by our jury from the 21th to the 30th of April (111, rue de Turenne, 75003 Paris).
The 25 students of Parsons Paris each realized amazing pieces with remarkable creativity! It is therefore not without difficulty that the jury has selected the seven pieces who will be exhibited at the Gallery S. Bensimon.
